Spend a week in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru awakening the living relationship between yoga posture and breath. Learn to teach Yin Yoga of the Five Elements, empowering practitioners to cultivate and coax Prana/Lifeforce through the body to nourish connective tissue, joints, and bones. You will acquire a divine healing and rejuvenating self-practice. This training will be held at world famous Healing House in Cusco, Peru, the gateway to Machu Pichu and Sacral Chakra center of the Earth. Just as this chakra connects us to creativity and abundance, the immersion allows an exploration of potent ancient Incan energy and the cultivation of tools to teach and master your own sacred Yin Yoga offering.


Yin Yoga is a practice that seeks to mindfully lengthen and lubricate the connective tissues and approach Equanimity in the subtle and emotional body. Practicing the methods of stillness, mindfulness, and loving kindness, Yin Yoga empowers practitioners to coax Prana into particular healing and rejuvenative pathways.


About the facilitator:

International yoga teacher Kali Basman enriches the paradigm of Yin Yoga to integrate distinct aspects of Self into an innate wisdom practice to awaken a rich inner life and radiate with ritual. Her offering honors Yin Yoga as a tool to surrender to our intrinsic wholeness. On the textured path of mindful healing, Kali is celebrated for her integration of the 5 Elements and Chinese Meridian Theory with self-inquiry, embodied Anatomy, Buddhist Philosophy of Equanimity, and sharp intellect. Kali offers classes, teacher trainings, and workshops around the globe. She pays reverent homage to her lineage of teachers, Sarah Powers, Paul Grilley and Judith Lasater.
